Sarah is a UCL Prudence Trust Research Fellow and co-director of the Wellbeing and Language Lab. Her research focuses on how language supports the development of social and emotional skills and how these processes are altered in developmental disorders that affect language. She is interested in the relationship between language disorder and mental health and is currently researching ways of adapting talking therapy for young people with language and communication challenges. She uses a variety of methods including longitudinal modelling, computational linguistic and experimental tasks. Outside of work she enjoys running, swimming, cooking and playing the double bass.
